Nope. The sensor is much, much larger.

but for what it’s worth, I like the camera in the iPhone 6 in that it performs much better in macro shots and has a much shorter minimum focus distance than my XR.

I’m curious as to how well the latest cameras do verses older ones with capturing the night sky.

If I want to get a night time photo that captures the landscape with the stars in the sky, can I do this with Night Mode on a tripod?

It’s now only 4 days until 13.1 is released! I can live with a few bugs and a vulnerability for 4 days. For me it was worth it just to get to play with the new CarPlay.

It’s a little amusing to me to hear people that themselves chose to run the betas for months caution others from running a buggy version for 4-5 days.

When Apple release these updates they usually wait a several days before sending push notifications to users to invite them to update. In this case, given that there are just 5 days between releases, the vast majority of the user base might not even notice that 13.0 is available and end up going straight to 13.1.

They apparently did not bother to do this. They just used it as a cosmetic option. If it does not have thinner walls the titanium case has way more strength and mass than necessary. This is a little sad from an engineering point of view and as for marketing; why call attention to the high strength to weight ratio of the material if you are not taking advantage of it?

And putting more battery into the space could give the titanium watch enough battery to make a true 24 hour day battery life.

Yes, a bigger battery would have been a possibility.

Milling our more space in the case may cause a number of practical problems to do with the ways internal parts are mounted into the case. I doubt Apple would have been very enthusiastic about having to customizing certain internal parts to fit a different internal case geometry for one model.
