I'd like to say "cunning plan Baldrick!" but that would be offensive to poor Baldrick..
I'm a big Blackadder fan. Have you see Upstart Crow?
No. I had no idea. Thanks for the heads up. I'll catch it when it hits Prime Video Spain. I see it's listed here but to put on my watch list so I imagine it won't be long now.
If you liked how Blackadder tipped into historical elements I think you'll love how Upstart Crow follows the timeline of Shakespeare's career with a surprising amount of accuracy for a sitcom. I'm also a big of David Mitchell* for whom Ben Elton wrote the role.

*Mitchell played the PC in Apple's "Get a Mac" ads that aired in the UK.
He's also quite good in BBC's Ludwig, which is just out now in the US.

  • Trump blinks: Floats suggestion that Apple might get a tariff exemption

Trump may be volatile but he is not stupid and loves to negotiate hard (Art of the Deal).  He also loves Apple so he will not allow them to be harmed in the long run.
The Art of the Deal. You’re hilarious. Tony Schwartz Is the ghostwriter who actually wrote that book and he regrets doing it. He found Trump to be incurious, not bright, and entirely lacking the attention span necessary to actually be good at negotiating deals.

And how often was Obama on the golf course?
Obama played golf 333 times during his 8 years, which is more than Trump. Trump's golf tally is harder to count, because one of his homes is on a golf course, and he's not always playing golf when he's at that home.
    That’s 333 ROUNDS of golf.

Tr*mp spent 293 days playing golf during his first term — in half the time.

You do the math (or, more likely, ignore it).
The end of this particular whataboutism diversion from the topic on hand is to remember that when Trump plays golf or just stays at one of his “clubs,” he collects rent money from the taxpayer so that the Secret Service can be onsite to protect him. So right after Trump sent markets into a tailspin by announcing the largest peacetime tax increase in US history, he went to play golf so he could pocket some of that taxpayer funded rent right away.

  • Apple finally brings lossless audio and low-latency audio to AirPods Max

To be clear, unless I'm misreading this article, the lossless and low latency modes will only be available when the headphones are connected by wire to a lossless audio source. When the headphones are used wirelessly, nothing changes from the current lossy audio formats.

  • Apple thinks the iPhone 16e target market doesn't care about MagSafe

Never having used MagSafe, I know “how convenient is to just pop your iPhone on a stand” with Qi chargers. I still don’t get the supposed need for MagSafe.
For convenience points, MagSafe eliminates the need for spring-loaded clamps or gravity-based mini-shelving to hold a charging phone in place. That's great for nightstands and car chargers. For efficiency points, MagSafe perfectly aligns the phone's inductive coils with the charger's inductive coils, maximizing the charger's energy efficiency and charging rate. A Qi charger will let you get close enough and will go ahead and charge your phone anyway when it's not perfectly aligned, but at less-than-optimal efficiency and speed.
