Apple might have exclusive on Intel's 28W 'Ice Lake' processors
Intel owes Apple, they’ve been holding them back. And Apple gets blamed for their missteps ... inability to meet latest fab shrink tech, supply shortages, missed deadlines, chip errors, chip security vulnerabilities. Plus high prices on top of it all. Does anyone need to ask why Apple needs control over their CPUs? -
Apple releases 'major' update to Logic Pro X
I’ve messed around with loops, but feel like it’s cheating, using someone else’s creation. I’m lucky that I spent thousands of hours learning how to play instruments, the most fulfilling feeling ever. I would encourage everyone to learn an instrument. I started with keyboard, learned basic theory, moved onto the foundations of sound synthesis & MIDI, and could not resist the electric guitar - thank you pagey! I wish I had all the resources that are available now back when I was a kid - there’s really no excuse why you can’t learn - the music and lessons are all free ... and now everyone has some extra time during lock down. Logic is a masterpiece of software - so much you can do with it. Keep
learning, keep creating! -

Review: Sony X800H HomeKit TV is an excellent mid-tier set
IMO - Now more than ever people are watching a lot of TV, so I would recommend not settling, and saving up for the better set. If OLED price is out of reach then look for multi zone local dimming (the more zones the better, and smaller sizes usually short change you on number of zones / 65 currently seems to be the sweet spot in price and performance), Dolby Vision and HDR10 support is a must. Most built-in streaming software use slow processors, have mediocre low resolution interfaces and aren’t updated often, so pair your new TV with the current best streamer, AppleTV 4K. Add a sound bar - or preferably AV receiver for much better sound than the typically abysmal built in speakers. For TV brands; LG for OLED, or higher end model Sony or Vizio (Sorry Sammy still don’t trust your reliability) add a Yamaha AV for a killer combo.
