Samsung beats Apple's iPhone in US for first time in three years, report says
Imagine buying a phone only to find two months later Apple’s offering is already 50% faster than that shiny new Android in their pocket. These are buyers that don’t do their homework. They won’t be happy especially when Samsung has now accelerated the release of their next model to January to catch up to Apple. Androids already don’t last nearly as long as iPhones, their lifespans will be shortened even further because their tech is inferior. Hopefully Apple shoots to have next year’s iPhone in customers hands first week of September! -
How Apple Silicon Macs can supercharge computing in the 2020s

iPhone 12, HomePod mini, record-breaking Mac sales - October 2020 in review
Picked up the 12Pro, absolutely needed to upgrade, I love it, super premium feel. Was contemplating the 12 with 128 to save some money but got a deal from Verizon and glad I went with the Pro with extra telelense. Watch a Pixar Disney+ movie on the screen and it looks incredible with 4k HDR (Moana is the movie I use to show off with - incredible animation/deep shadows and vibrant colors). Next year’s 13 will also be a killer - I assume they’ll keep same design but benefit further from faster processor, 120hz, more power efficient 5g chip, cameras from this year’s max? and possibly smaller/no notch - that will make a fantastic phone a perfect phone IMO. -
Facebook cloud gaming launches in browsers and on Android - but not iOS
Aren’t titles like Asphalt and others listed in this article already available in the App Store? Unless there are exclusives who needs more ‘casual games’? FB is just using games as another way to collect data for their massive database. Apple needs AAA console titles, with the next gen of ‘super chips’ they may be able to pull it off... then they will have all bases covered. -
Epic argues Apple has 'no rights to the fruits' of its labor in 'Fortnite' filing
Do as I say not as I do. Epic has its own in-game store that sells ‘digital useless garbage’ that is not even open to 3rd parties... which means they get 100% of all proceeds. Sweeney is a weasel ... Enslaved to his (deep pocketed) Chinese state-owned backers. Parents should open a class action suit to sue for refunding of the money spent on things like costumes for characters and other valueless crap that Epic deliberately preys on young kids to buy with their parent’s credit cards.
