Apple TV interface works, picture and audio quality is excellent. What's missing - more apps and games and of course, a lower price - make it $99 and it will sell well.

The remote? Atrocious - I would have fired Ive for this debacle alone. It's obvious he skipped all his classes in physical ergonomics. Can't wait for the new generation to fix his bad deeds.

Ive did some good work - thank you. It’s now time for him to move on. Ridiculous if they hire his firm - what’s the point? So he can charge more?

However, Ive had his fair share of fails - I’m not going to list them — I’ve already done that through the years in my comments.

I’m actually very excited to see some new designs - hopefully the new team will embrace the ‘think differently’ mantra. I’ve seen some spectacular designs for the watch, OS UX, glasses, etc from ‘amateur’ designers and students that are more exciting and compelling than what Apple ended up with.

Gates makes it sound like it was theirs to take. Nobody wanted Windows 8 or their equivalent Mobile OS with the lousey tile based interface - both have been killed off. They still try to push the sliding tiles in the MS Windows menu - just get rid of it, already. Unless Microsoft has an unfair advantage, or blatantly copies or acquires technology from others, they rarely succeed.

Apple has an excellent desktop line up now (finally) from base iMac that aptly serve the masses (home & schools) to upgraded iMac pros (Prosumer/corporate) to expandable Mac Pros (corporate). Nicely done. Plus throw in the Mac mini as an alternate format. Nearly all have at least an Intel 8th gen processor. What’s left? I’d like to see an iMac design tweak (no bezels, wide screen?), an Apple (non pro) monitor that matches the iMac, and move completely to SSDs!

I scratch my head - Apple and other computer manufacturers have been making keyboards for forty years, why are modern designs increasing failure rates? Go back to more dependable designs from the past.
