Huawei is China, it is not dying, it is powerful, huge and growing.

The State subsidizes Huawei products so they can dump phones - and now 5G tech - on the market for 1. increased market share, 2. destroy the competition, 3. steal information from users. It may be too late to stop this beast, since they have undoubtedly stolen enough software and hardware designs to now be self sufficient. I am not a fan of Trump, but wimpy Obama failed by not starting agreements with China years ago, when the US had more leverage. Trump is on the other end of the spectrum -- a testosterone fueled loose cannon, illogical and often unreasonable. Buckle up fellows ... there's a crazy ride ahead for all of us!

It’s so interesting how The Chinese envy the Western world. They steal Western ideas, US and European. I visited Shanghai hoping for a cultural experience. The shopping district was a knock off of New York’s fifth avenue with Swiss watch companies,Italian design companies, even KFC restaurant. Nearly impossible to find something different -even outside of the tourist areas - from what I would find in the US. The Chinese stores offered what you would expect - cheap ‘Chinese’ trinkets - chop sticks and plastic lucky cats. Is this what they want? I wish they would embrace their past and differences and bring NEW ideas of their own to the world based on some of their rich history, instead of smartphones that look like Apple’s and cars that look like European designs - without the performance and quality. It’s pretty sad.

China sells low-priced telecom equipment for a reason - so they can monitor and steal everything that passes through. 

Ambulance chaser - can he quantify damages caused by the glitch? If so, maybe he has a case.

Intel caused Apple huge revenue losses and missed market share opportunities because they can’t get their act together, stringing Apple along for years with promises, and missed deadlines  - and these chips won’t be in shipping WIntel products until year end, Apple products in 2020, if ever.
