Features of value to users aren't necessarily the same per Apple's standards. For example, IOS 10 introduced a mess of a music app trying to "improve" on IOS 9's.StrangeDays said:Oh, you mean the Favorites Bar. I don't know who makes the final GUI and feature/function decisions at Apple, but there seems to be a trend at Apple (since Scott Forstall was shown the door) towards dumbing down the IOS and OS systems. All the while, functions like AirPlay, Bluetooth and Network continue with unresolved bugs/oddities.

My friend received his 12.9 today. Was amazed how smoothly he could scroll through pages without any ghosting etc.

See the new & refreshed emoji in Apple's first public beta of iOS 10.2
Great. More emojis. Wish Apple included a search function in the emoji panel. That would make emoji use a lot more functional.
