Spotify is going to pay one way or another. They better take the download fee and move on. Next move might be API access rights. It is important to note that Spotlight owns nothing other than their source code which is dependent on Apple's API's.

They are willing to work because they are making money and know the costs up front. Should one not go into business because they’re going to have to pay rent, income taxes, insurance, wages, payroll taxes, etc. is 30% is the cost of doing business and like other overhead items, you factor it into the price. 

Scare tactics. Adware while annoying is not a threat. PUA is probably not a huge deal either. Trojans and the rest are bad news. Of course none of these affect iOS.

Or attract passengers?  Sounds like a great marketing idea to me.  I hope every airline does this, and soon, we are flying a first-class round trip to Europe in July; I'd love it if this were the case on our flights.

I’m certain your ticket was dirt cheap compared to a single-plane airline out of the Maldives.
