Pixelmator Photo switches to subscription for new users
A fixed price for useful software does not make sense and is not sustainable. Some iOS version updates require that apps be updated and you can’t do this for free after receiving a $7 for a lifetime license. Also the store does not allow for multiple versions of the same product.$54 for a lifetime license of software that you need or use regularly is a steal. The younger crowd does not remember the days of paying $400 for a single program and the getting hit with a $200 update fee. Of course prior to iOS free updates did not happen. What you bought was what you were stuck with. -
Uber closing rewards program in favor of pushing Uber One subscription
To be expected. Their business model of subsidized fares until the competition is choked out was never a viable one. Undercutting everyone on price with investor money is not capitalism.I don’t see them surviving any type of recession or financial slowdown. I do expect Lyft to merge with them as the only way they both can survive, much like Sirius and XM did. -

The interface for setting up ads is not straightforward but you get results in the end.
