Apple reaping massive illegal profits from Apple Pay fees on card issuers, lawsuit claims
StrangeDays said:As I recall Apple charges card issuers because AP cuts back on their fraud exposure, due to device biometrics. It saves them money. Now they want the benefit without the cost.Apple would have a hard time starting its own credit card network. The wagons start circling when a competitor tries to improve a long standing business model. Walmart has made moves and strategic hires with a possible goal opening their own bank. The banks are in full defense mode as they do not want any competition. Amazon could be next or could beat Walmart to opening a bank. These companies will forever change banking. -
European Council approves Digital Markets Act rules
It’s bad news for all inventors and patent holders when a government can force you to implement on a competitors platform. Why invent something (iMessage) if the government can just steal from you. This is socialism and why everyone should be against it. It breeds mediocrity. There are plenty of messaging platforms for everyone to have one. -

Visa is part of the problem. They nickel and dime every transaction with their fees. The statement from our card processor shows the 20+ fees they charge per transaction. It adds up to between 1.5% to well over 3% with AMEX being the ultimate fleeced. Before we dropped their card they hit us for close to 4% on one of their rewards cards. The part customers do not understand is that they are paying on average 3% extra for every single thing they purchase with or without a card. All this is to get their free rewards. Customers pay for these with their own money via the markup to offset the fees. -
'Captain America' star Chris Evans misses the Home Button, says new iPhones too heavy
They are designing for the masses and not fit a few people who complain. This reminds of my father-in-law who wants to replace his truck with a size that Ford does not make any more and cherry pick features off of Toyota, Chevy and Dodge that Ford too does not have. He wants something that does not exist so he either makes do with what’s available. No need to dream about nonexistent items.

RCS is still half-baked, and Apple has no reason to adopt it
bossbaby said:And the pathetic iMessage still dont have automatic spam filter. I really wish I could install Google message on my iPhone. The most annoying, I kept receiving spam Imessage from random emails. I both have iphone and Android and nope, RCS is not half baked. I use both and rcs has more feature than iMessage imho. Imessage doesnt have enough user base, atleast, outside america.
