I cannot wait for Spotify to fall and it will happen. We just have to bide our time.

Paid Apple Intelligence features won't come until at least 2027
2 years is an eternity in the computer world. There is no way this is factual as every other company will be looking at Apple in their rear view mirror and be on the 2nd or 3rd generation of their AI offering.

What an ill-conceived statement to make. The conspiracy theorists in me makes me think this was a feeler to see what the feedback would be. No one is buying a mouse that requires monthly or annual payments. Faber appears to be a master of flubbing with loose lips. The most telling statement is " a peek into provocative internal thinking on future possibilities for more sustainable consumer electronics", which is code for subscription fees.

Kernel access is a horrific thing to grant to third parties. The only 1% of machines were affected is irrelevant because the many of the machines affected were servers affected 1000's and 1000's of other users and processes.

Make $0 and not participate in an App Store or pay a 1/2 Euro and the money starts rolling in. They are leaving too much money on the table to not buy in and you really look beyond greedy when you see their revenue and the pittance given to Apple for using their software.
