FCC wants powers to punish international robocallers and texters
davgreg said:Has anyone else seen the occasional call that displays no number and is titled Unknown on an iPhone?
I have seen that once or twice, that has to be some kind of nefarious thing.
I'm not confident there is anyway to stop it completely. They will figure out a way to get around it. -
Microsoft should have been Apple's challenger in mobile, says Bill Gates
Let's see they...- Fumbled on the Internet's rise, but recovered with monopolistic moves.

We'll never see opt-out by default in the US. We'll always be stuck with political calls even though no one wants them. iOS13 will fix most of the problem as if a number is not in the address book it won't ring. The bigger problem is spoofing caller ID. I've seen my home number spoofed as if I was calling it myself. -
Cook promises Apple will 'learn' and 'take action' in memo to workers
Most companies would kill to make $84 billion in a quarter and can only dream of that in a year. The companies that are ahead of Apple in terms of annual revenue are: Walmart, *State Grid, *Sinopec, *China National Petroleum, Royal Dutch Shell, Toyota, Volkswagen, BP, ExxonMobil, and Berkshire Hathaway. This puts Apple at #11, which is above Samsung at #12. Amazon shows up at #18. No sign of Netflix, Facebook, Google, Dell, Microsoft in the top 50.
