The last thing anyone needs is for music to altered from the way the creator intended it to be. It is like editing a movie to fit within a time block or reformatting a 16:9 to fit a 4:3 display. Not what the created intended.

Nice contrived article addressing a problem that affects very few people. Most people buy notebooks now because they are convenient. Desktops are nowhere near as important as they once wear as notebooks are plenty powerful for all but the craziest gamers.

Thieves generally are not going to check for AirTags before robbing someone and most likely will not even know about the advice. By telling everyone about it they will know to look for one after stealing the jacket.

A better solution is not to have a $500-$2000 jacket at college in the DC or any crime ridden city. I'll also speculate that most could not afford to replace it if stolen.

If you cannot compete or are getting beaten at your own game, call your friend at a regulatory agency (this one is CFPB) and tell them to "look" into it and regulate them to the point of pain. These agency could care less about the end customer. 

The best part about this is if given the choice 99.99% of the people in the world will pick Google because that is the name they know. Yes a few zealots would to with Duck Duck Go and a handful with Bing, but those are insignificant. Google is paying to make it convenient to select them.
