  • Apple could be out $20 billion a year if Google loses DOJ antitrust case

Might as well start suing manufacturers who pay for specific shelf space at stores. How about all of the exclusive advertising deals that companies make with teams and these are much more up front "Official plumbing company" of some football team. We the consumer are forced to look at that company's name plastered all of the stadium and even here mention of it. The teams are getting paid by those companies for the position.

  • Apple FineWoven case review: Not the leather replacement we were hoping for

If I want something in leather that is what I am buying. These do-gooder products appeal to few and are most are not even remotely equivalent. It’s good for third parties making leather cases though.

  • Wedbush says iPhone 15 Pro Max is 'a clear standout'

People purchase new phones because they always have new stuff, have an old or broken phone, gift or reseller promotions. Very few people are buying because of a camera, processor chips or titanium construction.

  • Apple arguing iMessage isn't big enough to be EU gatekeeper service

The kind of person introducing these laws to target those that cause them discomfort never stops to think it might one day be applied to them.
    Huh?
The implication of the original post is that it is ok to go after something so long as it is not something you want gone after by someone else. As an example considering a government ban on cigarettes and cigars, which is ok with you because you do not smoke. Next a ban on alcohol which is ok because you do not drink. The next thing to be banned is soda and again you are ok with that since you do not drink soda. At some point the next item to be banned might be something you like at which time it will not be ok with you even though your thoughtless self watched stuff everyone else liked be banned and now everyone has lost out of something the like.

There is a similar usage referring to the people who watched the atrocities of the Nazi government as they systematically rounded up different groups of people and no one cared because they were not in that group and when their group was next no one was left to stand up for them.

  • Game Mode isn't enough to bring gaming to macOS, and Apple needs to do more

In terms of games the vast majority of players use dedicated consoles. Makes no sense for Apple to pursue the fringe gamers who want dedicated rigs that also run other software. Were it something Apple wanted to do there is nothing stopping them from going all in on a gaming PC, but they obviously have zero interest in doing so.
