This is the warning the phone gives you to use facial recognition.

It really can't be made more clearer by Samsung FROM THE START that the feature isn't safe. Honestly, it's a none issue. And that it's the only issue people can pick up should tell you what a good phone it is.

See this is why no-one besides AI can take DED serious - the new iPad was just released a week or so ago, so how can he already draw those conclusions? No research or JD Power survey has these in it.
As said before, DED is doing this site a massive disservice with his factually wrong and overly biased articles.

I don't think of Surface as a tablet but I guess because it's multi touch and the keyboard is detachable it's classified as such. 

Curious in that JD Power has been doing this for 6 years, and each report is based on a different set of criteria. Microsoft Surface wasn't in previous reports (despite being more of a tablet 2012-2014 before canceling the whole ARM WinRT thing. Microsoft bills Surface Pro as a MBA competitor.

2016 report has the Surface as one point below the iPad

How can we trust anything from someone who can't even find last year's report?

That was uncomfortable to read, like someone trying to type that barely speaks English as a third language. 

Who cares. No one is forced to use the facial recognition feature.
