Tim Cook says Apple has donated more than 10 million masks to fight COVID-19
StrangeDays said:georgie01 said:Awesome! It’ll work better if companies like Apple help out in these ways rather than government poking their bloated nose into it if not necessary.
I agree governments do need to lead. Unfortunately, leadership has been lacking. President Trump has at best gave mixed messages, expressing hunches rather than passing on the facts from the professionals. The CDC was on top of expressing the severity, but they bungled the testing and preparedness.
The CDC seems to be saying preparing for epidemics wasn’t their job. After SARS, MERS, the Zika virus, and swine flu... I figured it was somebody’s job (CDC) but apparently not. Quad-core Core i5 processor is a big boost for 2020 MacBook Air

The computer department should be able to set up Boot Camp, so he’ll have Windows if needed. Some schools will do that for free.
With the capability and flexibility of the MacBook Air, it blows the iPad Pro out of the water, and is cheaper. -
Apple confirms customers unable to pick up Apple Store repairs until outlets reopen
Why can’t they ship the customer their devices? Seems like the store manager could get it done in an hour or two. There’s probably not that much stuff, if they put any effort in warning them. For corp. customers the devices probably weren’t picked up because they are also closed. A phone call could confirm that...
