Bill Gates steps down from Microsoft board to focus on philanthropy
dewme said:Bill has nothing to more to prove. His legacy is firmly established and he needs to spend hie remaining years enjoying the fruits of his labor with an unencumbered mind.
He probably has more people dedicated to keeping him healthy than the President. -

Santa Monica Apple Store employee tests positive for COVID-19
SpamSandwich said:Think of it this way: Everyone on the planet will eventually get it. A fraction of those people will be harmed (reportedly in the 1-2% range, according to the latest, most accurate testing).
If I got infected there’s a good chance it would be mild. But, I could be a carrier for 5 days and not express any symptoms. If I happened to have diner with my parents (and pass it on) there’s a good chance I’d lose at least one of them.
Also, remember the young whistleblower doctor. He looked to be in his 30s and good health...he died from the virus.Don’t take the risks for granted and stay safe (take precautions). -

So no quoting President Trump?
From CNN:Trump continued by discarding his own administration's advice to stay home if you're feeling sick: "If we have thousands or hundreds of thousands of people that get better, just by, you know, sitting around and even going to work, some of them go to work, but they get better, and then when you do have a death, like you've had in the state of Washington, like you had one in California, I believe you had one in New York." No deaths have been reported in New York."You know," Trump said, "all of a sudden it seems like 3 or 4%, which is a very high number, as opposed to a fraction of 1%. But again, they don't know about the easy cases because the easy cases don't go to the hospital. They don't report to doctors or the hospital in many cases. So I think that that number is very high. I think the number, personally, I would say the number is way under 1%."
