Apple to block third-party access to Notes field in Contacts with iOS 13
I’ve kept information In that field before, and many people do.
The information wasn’t super sensitive, but it’s not something that should be shared. This is an Apple oops, and it’s good that isn’t being fixed.
Why are people blaming users? Fanboys are nuts...
I don’t share anything with 3rd party apps, so it’s not an issue, but still... -
Hands on with the best features of iOS 13 and iPadOS
I’m really liking the new Dark Mode and Home screen.
I own the 9.7 iPad Pro and was looking at the 12.9 at Costco. It underwhelmed...
The OS just looked wrong on the larger screen, like blowing up an iPhone to huge. With Dark Mode and the new Home screen it’s going to make a huge difference, now having an elegant and modern interface.
The new file system and external drive support is going to add a lot of value. My sister is always filming her kids at events and running out of space. Now she can archive stuff easily. I’d say she’s a lot more likely to purchase another iPad now... -

Apple ceases iOS 12.2 code signing following iOS 12.3 release
evilution said:Shame that 12.3 didn't fix the problem that 12.2 seemed to create for many people.
My 11 inch iPad Pro was working wonderfully (except for suddenly not wanting to join 1 single WiFi, stating the password was incorrect).
The minute I updated to 12.2, I started getting moments where the touch screen stopped registering touch or pulsed the touch. It could be between 1 and 10 seconds and then be fine. This happens a few times a day. A restore and full wipe did nothing. I was hoping that 12.3 would fix it but no.
One thing I’ve noticed in the past is updates sometimes don’t like screen protectors, and have difficultly calibrating. Removing the protector (if you have one) may help you. You can always install a new one later for a few bucks...
