HomePod gains smart speaker marketshare in Q4, still lags far behind front runners
Whatever. I have several Homepods (all used in stereo pairs) because the sound quality via Airplay is HANDS DOWN superior to any other wireless speaker I've heard.
I don't care at all about Siri. In fact it's turned OFF.
Considering I've been able to acquire a Homepod PAIR for around $400, I could not be happier.

I am on my 3rd HP and could care less about Siri. For me it's all about the sound quality which is unparalleled by any other smart speaker in my listening tests. I just set up a stereo pair and the results are stunning.
I've never paid more than $250 for a HP and to me that's the sweet spot
