  • Epic Games Store goes live for EU iPhone users

Installed. You can't find other app stores from App Store, searching for Epic gives you Steam and Xbox apps, and you have to go to a site and then manually open Settings. It would feel more safe to download from App Store (and with Apple charging developers perhaps it should be like that).

But here we are. Developers can connect directly to users and get taxed less. Users get more options for great content across platforms. It is a new era.
Congrats 🎉  I read it was slightly complicated. Your mission: delete and reinstall the game until Epic gets charged. Anyways, what are your thoughts on the actual gameplay?
I don't play their games and I don't like Epic, but I want to give more users the freedom, and I despise the way Apple is placing a 30% sales tax on some developers while delivering junk search results in App Store.

  • Apple grants US developers the same NFC features it was forced to provide in Europe

It wasn't possible at all... but now Apple is doing PR on how great it is even outside EU. This "built in India to specifications from EU politicians" thing seems to be a hit with Apple. Just wait 2 years and Apple PR will tell how all their products will have batteries designed for replacement by users. Might as well let Vestager do the next keynote.

  • Apple moving forward with iPad on a robot arm as your next smarthome purchase

I’d believe USD$1k for the arm alone.
Add wheels for the usual $699.

  • Apple bows to EU pressure over App Store anti-steering practices

Short of turning over it's assets and business to an EU company, no matter what Apple does, it won't be enough for the EU.  They're being punished for being Apple, and for not kissing the EU's ass.

Apple is kissing ass to the communists in China, force-installing gov apps in Russia, and disabling privacy/Facetime on all devices in UAE. Cook will do what it takes. But EU asking for a common charger... Apple signed and did nothing in 15 years. Selling chargers was more important than avoiding e-waste.

Agree with @"avon b7" that Apple can either leave EU or follow the rules.
