Well, it seems Apple Intelligence is insanely great by functionality - not by name. A new golden era.

TP-Link Deco BE5000 review: whole-home mesh Wi-Fi 7 on a budget
MBPro201513 said:The review seems woefully incomplete without mentioning the lack of 6Ghz support. Looks like a great product otherwise, but that’s something that surely should be pointed out for a review of a network product?
Also worth mentioning are the massive security problems with TP-Link. Hard to recommend products when DOJ and FBI are deeply concerned. -
M3 iPad Air review roundup: It's just a spec bump
MacBook Air M4 13" 16/256 with keyboard but no pencil - $999
iPad Air M3 13" 8/256 with keyboard but no pencil - $1218
iPad used to deliver value. Now you get less memory, an old processor, and the OS you really don't want for more. The OS is so bulky with AI that 256 GB should be minimum.
I would like to see 90 Hz refresh rate, A-series CPU with AI support being "enough processor", $100 (or less) for cellular, and a price around $599 excluding keyboard and pen - or $499 for 11". -
First Mac Studio M3 Ultra benchmarks significantly outpace the M2 Ultra
foregoneconclusion said:Max chips have significantly higher memory throughput than the Pro or standard versions of M series chips. Which means that Ultra will have DOUBLE the RAM data processing advantage of the Max.

Apple's mmWave C1 modem won't launch until 2026
MWC 2025 concluded today and it was all 5G Advanced. Qualcomm released the next generation X85 modem with a focus on 5G Advanced. T-Mobile is already running tests in San Diego. Apple will have to go 5G Advanced in the Pro models and 5G Advanced must be on the roadmap. mmWave will be part of it but 5G Advanced should is the important part.

MacBook Air update arrives with lower starting price & M4 performance boost
bluefire1 said:Does the average citizen need the M4 instead of the M3, M2 or M1 MacBook Air?
It is still a nice computer delivering value. M2 and onwards have the great new design, MagSafe, display, and keyboard. M3+ is available in a very nice black, the 256 GB SSD is much faster, and from November 2024 all have 16 GB. M4 adds a better camera and for some reason a new battery.
Anyone with MBA M2 or later are probably happy about their Mac especially if they have 16 GB.
I would like for Apple to lower the upgrade prices. What is the purpose of offering upgrades that are priced not to sell? Resellers would be able to increase sales if 512 GB was $100 and 1 TB for $250. For now Apple is selling loads of the base model. Car manufacturers are better at this.
