And what news agencies has to do with FBI internal matters related to public/national security ?
They are only asking how much it cost, not how they did it. The taxpayers have the right to know how much those rumored $500 toilet seats actually cost. It’s their money.
Next things news agencies will ask how much chair and tables in FBI offices cost and how much they pay to under cover officers and who they are. So news agencies get spicy news to print and make more money of it at the cost of FBI people's life who work hard to protect people.

  • Rumor: Apple to launch 'iPad Pro 2,' red iPhone 7, 128GB iPhone SE at March event

Seriously doubt there will be a 128 SE. They include more storage in the premium models, not the starter models.
SE is not their "starter model". Far more customers buy the 6s, or even the 7 as their first iPhone, than buy the SE.

Shame, I was waiting for the next SE update for a better processor. Guess I'll have to stick with my 6s a little longer.

Definitely excited about the new iPad Pro 2, been waiting for that one as well!

Will be interesting to see if the mini is actually not updated. That is definitely my favorite iPad for reading and gaming. It's just the right size for gaming imo. If they aren't updating it and keeping up with the other iPads, it hurts gaming performance. I guess we'll wait and see.
    ?
What would a new processor get you?   A tenth of second response time?

The SE is designed as a "budget" (for Apple), entry level phone.   To have it compete on specs with the high end phones defeats the purpose.
No. That is not "it's purpose". No. that is not what it is "designed as'.

  • Apple's iPhone drops to fifth place in Chinese smartphone market

Ireland, anyone who was an Apple fan in the 90s can tell you why it matters. Back then Apple had similar advantages to what they have now: elegant design, solid hardware, even an ecosystem of more refined apps and fewer viruses. But they nearly died due to falling market share, which could be attributed to high prices and a lack of vision and discipline on Apples part. The result was a mass migration by developers to the Windows world (Adobe and others used to be Mac only). Yes market share, revenue and profit aren't everything, but they do afford a company the ability to be innovative and daring – the very qualities you want to talk about. Back to the story, what are we seeing in the Chinese market for Apple? Like Apple of the 90s, a lack of vision and high prices. it looks to me like the market is growing at an astonishing rate, and Apple isn't offering enough to justify the high prices. It isn't so much that Apple sales are slowing, it's that they are missing out on a huge wave of opportunity. That's cause for concern.
    Good first post. (an anomaly)
