  • Goldman Sachs spends $350 for every Apple Card signup

Not trying to be negative on this, really asking.  Why would anyone want this card?  The rate is pretty high, the integrations are interesting but don't really add that much value IMO, and I can use Apple Pay with my existing card.  What is the draw?
2% cash back on NFC, 3% on all Apple products and services, no annual fee. Why wouldn’t I want to use it for my Apple Pay and Apple ID/iTunes card?

That doesn’t mean I’ll use it for everything, of course.

The interest rate is quite poor (24% for good credit), but I don’t plan to carry a balance.
LOL.  You've been reading some fake news.  The rate is about half that for good credit. You're quoting the maximum rate for people with the weakest credit.

  • Apple loses ground to Samsung in European smartphone market

I see you all fell for the fake news. Apple doesn't release its sales figures, nor do the other cell phone makers, so all of you are reacting to this fake news article which falsely implies that there are actual figures. No one but Apple knows if the sales percentage is up or down.

Keep your eye on the ball. These analysts are selling their analysis, (and in some cases trying to pump or dump a stock), so they need to keep producing reports, regardless of their accuracy.  I understand the pressure; they have to pay their bills like everyone else, but it doesn't justify that they are pumping out speculation and guesses.

It would help if AI and other sites would not use fake news headlines.  The remedy is to be accurate, as they were if you read farther into the article where they casually mention that the firm "claims" there is a drop. That should be in the headline, but of course, it doesn't attract as many readers when it is announced as a fact that Apple is "losing sales" to its competitors.  That's what's known as "click bait."

  • High-end 2019 Apple iPhone lineup may shift to 'Pro' branding

Apple wants to further eliminate meaning behind the term “pro”?

    So tired of this nonsense.
Relax. You're getting angry by letting an unsubstantiated rumor ruin your day. Whatever it is called, it will be the latest evolution of a beautiful piece of technology that will make so much possible in the hands of those who use it- photography, music, books, podcasts, radio, telephone, email, texts, language translator, mapping, searching the Internet, etc., etc., etc.

  • Apple adds more drivers to autonomous car project

This article needs to be rewritten.  It quotes multiple unsourced, unsubstantiated rumors as facts.  For example, it states as fact that there were "over a thousand employees," but links to an article quoting another article that mentioned an unsourced, unsubstantiated claim that "Apple had several hundred employees" working on a project.  No one has any idea how many employees Apple has working on Project Titan, or what their focus is.  The article is full os these misleading statements.

  • Read the fine print of Apple Card's customer agreement

    Presumably they're worried about malware?

"The highest return rate, 3%, applies only to purchases directly from Apple…"

That could be seen as yet another anti-competitive policy and may come back to bite them.
LOL. In other news, Starbucks only gives you points when you purchase coffee at Starbucks, not other coffee shops. The biggest confusion people have is that they think anything you do to give your company an edge over competitors is "anti-completive" or potentially illegal when, in fact, it is what every business does every day. It's only when you do something, like agree to fix prices, that it is illegal.
