Who are these people of the Death to Apple clan? Thirty years ago we replaced the PCs in our office withMacs and noticed a substantial increase in productivity & happiness by all. Twenty years ago the gloomers were telling us it was the end- despite APPL having more cash on hand than its market capitalization. Perhaps I should thank them for making me buy the stock at $22- which then split 2:1. But the hate seems to go on and on...

Is there just one Siri? My HomePod Siri seems much more responsive than  the iPhone Siri and they understand things better or worse than the other. They're just different

It's not the Banks- it is the lack of Merchant embrace which is keeping this thing from soaring in utilization.  Invest a couple Million & give the reader away so it catches on.

In spite of the CR report (perhaps because of it) I ordered my HomePod yesterday & received it today. Set up was ca. 75 seconds once it was out of the box.  I think the music sound is just fine- better than my home video setup with Klipsch & Polk Audio speakers.  I'm happy & what CR says just does not matter.

I'm about ready to jump in for the cellular watch- except for the $10/mo charge for the cell service. The cost makes no sense to me as the phone # is the same and the owner is very unlikely to use phone & watch at same time (is that even possible?).  Apple needs some leverage here as this coulld be a real drag on sales.
