  • 7 hours in the spaceship: interviewing for a job at Apple Park

If I were hiring for a company with a high emphasis on keeping details secret, and a prospective employee immediately wrote about their experience at my company’s interview and about its property, the prospect would be considered a security risk and rejected.

  • Video: iPhone X vs OnePlus 6 - Benchmarks

How much bloatware do you get for the $400 savings and can the device run with only 64GB of storage? Also what are OnePlus’ sales volume and customer satisfaction ratings?
Especially customer satisfaction and customer service. I had a OnePlus One and got zero customer service. I had to ask friends why it wasn’t updating and what I could do. I rooted it and installed a newer OS but was never happy. Granted, it’s an older phone but give me an Apple Store and the ability to call or contact Apple Support on social media any day over all that mess!

  • Latest Apple Maps update includes indoor mapping for Sydney airport, more

In the last two years I found Apple Maps as accurate and good at navigating me around issues as Google. Two years ago, even one, I’d have used Google Maps when I was in a hurry. Kudos to the Apple Maps team.

  • CarPlay becoming pivotal purchase priority for new car buyers

I have a 2015 Toyota RAV4 without CarPlay. At one time I called Toyota to see if it could be retrofitted. They said no. So my 2015 SUV couldn’t so what my 2000 Honda could do - read me my texts and emails off my BlackBerry. I’d have to buy a higher-end 2017 model to get that on my iPhone. Wtf Toyota?! My next vehicle will definitely have CarPlay. I’ll be looking for a well-established brand that fully supports it, not reluctantly.

  • Watch: iPhone X takes on Samsung's Galaxy S9+ in benchmarking bonanza

Thank you for the comprehensive report. I prefer iOS a great deal over Samsung’s TouchWiz version of Android (or any Android for that matter) so I’ll get another iPhone when the time comes. If you’re partial to Samsung’s version of Android then it’s good to see that it’s catching up to iPhone. I don’t see many loyal users switching over.
