What is the use case?
The use case is simply portability for a large iPad. Set aside other ridiculous speculation in the article and focus on the idea of a big iPad that keeps the same screen aspect ratio as all others, but folds in half so you can easily tuck in your backpack or briefcase. That’s the use case. Once a regular tablet gets beyond a certain size, it’s no longer easily portable.
