Unsurprisingly, Mark Zuckerberg believes Meta Quest 3 is the 'better product, period'
I'm a bit confused why people are trying to hunt and peck on the VP keyboard. When I use mine, I look at a key and click with my two fingers. I can type super fast using this method. The only difficulty is looking up at the word being typed for mistakes while typing but what is nice is if you look up and there is a mistake Apple added a delete key at the end of the input field. I would like to see Apple support arrow keys b/c sometimes I type so fast that I have a mistake in the middle of the word and have to delete back and retype.

What's the value of Apple's Vision Pro spatial computing?
If possible schedule a demo at your local Apple store. I was on the fence and the demo gives a mind blowing glimpse into what "spatial computing" can be.
Will it be tomorrow? No. It will be a while, probably a long while but IMHO the real potential is being able to sit with other down the street or across the globe and talk with them like they are in the room w/you. Not talking about the creepy persona stuff but the spatial videos and pictures and Alisha Keys demo. Think halodeck. Not sure how it will eventually work b/c you're wearing the visonpro that covers your face unless the somehow create avatars that better than today's personas.
For all of the complaint's about weight. It's not weight, it's fit. Apple offers light shields in both wide and narrow and sizes <=13 and 21 to 34. I scanned myself multiple times and received varying recommendations from 23W, 33W, 21W down to 13W. Then I talked to another Apple employee and he suggested trying a narrow. The 23W may "surround" my face better but it put a lot of pressure on my forehead to the point of pain. The 21W was better but the best compromise was the 21N which evenly distributed the pressure on my face and allowed me to leave the unit looser. They will also tell you it depends on where you place the solo band. Higher up puts more pressure below your eyes and lower puts pressure on your forehead. I haven't even tried the dual loop b/c it's fine with a proper light shied and the solo band positioned properly. Is it perfect, no. Will it be, no.

Why drivers in Scotland are crashing because of bad Apple Maps data
Such BS.
Over the years, I have stopped numerous times to ask for directions. If the person told me to make L instead of R, I never ended up in a lake or crashing into a building. The worst that ever happened is that I came to a dead end road staring out at a field. I didn't drive into the field! I called my friend received new directions and I was on my way.
Take responsibly for your stupid mistakes and lack of attention to what is going on around you. -
Morgan Stanley dubs Apple Vision Pro a 'free call option on spatial computing'
What is going on with the world?
I have NEVER seen as many journalists, reviewers, etc. focus on the positives and potentials of an Apple product!
Instead of the norm reporting that focus on the negatives and how the product is a failure. This time they explicitly stating they instead understand that this is a Gen 1 product and that the negatives will eventually be resolved going forward.
