luisirizarry63 said:I have a question ?I have the iOS 14 beta 7 on my iPhone 10R
will I be able to upgrade to the iOS 14 on
Sept 16 2020 ?What a good question, what you'll do is remove the beta profile to unenroll your iOS device from the beta program in order to get the commercial release.Go to Settings > General > Profiles and tap the beta profile that appears and then tap remove profile. You might need to enter your passcode to remove the profile.Hope this helps. -
VMWare Fusion 12 debuts with macOS Big Sur support, more
rob53 said:It appears the free Fusion Player does everything the Pro version does except for the following: https://www.vmware.com/products/fusion.htmlVirtual Network Customization (NAT, network rename)Virtual Network Simulation (Packet Loss, Latency, Bandwidth)Connect to vSphere/ESXi ServerRemote vSphere Host Power ControlCreate Linked ClonesCreate Full ClonesEncrypt VMs
Start here: https://www.vmware.com/products/fusion.html The registration link for Fusion Player takes me to VMWare Horizon.
Logged onto to VMWare and it only shows the Pro version for download so it appears you have to register for the Player version even if you've been a Fusion user for years. Clicking on Fusion 12 takes you to the commercial version. They've really messed things up.
I gave up trying to get to whatever they were sending me to. Using my current account, they said I could register with that but it never actually took me to the Player app, only to some trial stuff.

Using this website: https://www.vmware.com/products/fusion/fusion-evaluation.htmlIt says "Use the links below to start your free, fully functional 30-day trial, no registration required."https://www.vmware.com/go/getfusionplayer goes to Horizon trials and requires registration. https://vmware.com/go/get-fusionplayer-key also goes to this website.
--I chatted with Support and got a bit further then the download link, Manually Download, didn't do anything. The support person went to try it and it cancelled out session.
If you're already logged onto VMware, try https://my.vmware.com/web/vmware/evalcenter?p=fusion-player-personaland see if this gets you there.Interesting, thanks for posting this. They should not make it so hard to obtain the free player version. If you already have an account like myself and you one shouldn't have to register again. -
Future iPhone cases may brace themselves for impact automatically
frantisek said:And in the future, after calling Hey Siri, the iPhone will fly out of his pocket and float in front of my face. lol So he won't be able to fall to the ground at all.
Check this out, iPhone 11 drone concept. Pretty cool what people come up with.

New AirPods firmware enables Spatial Audio, automatic switching
fred1 said:Well, I've had my iPhone connected to WiFi and my AirPods Pro nearby with the case open all morning and still no update. First I was charging the phone until it reached 100% and then I started charging the AirPods Pro until they reached 100%, all while the two devices were connected, and still no update. I guess I'm not one of the "chosen".
Any suggestions other than trying again tomorrow? What version of iOS are you running? For me after updating to iOS 13.7 the firmware to my AirPods Pro showed up almost instantly. When on iOS 13.6 I had the same same issue as you, nothing happened for 20 minutes. I don't think you need to be connected to Wi-Fi on your phone. I just did what you did paired my AirPods Pro with my iPhone and left the case open and bam the updated firmware showed up.Hope this helps.
