My guess is that most PC gaming laptops are going to be mostly used plugged in to power, and only rarely as a laptop - they're a compromise for people who can't afford a cheap laptop AND a gaming desktop PC, but are happy enough with what they get. College students, perhaps?

It's been about five years since I had a work laptop (MBP) and I almost always used it at a desk anyway.

Pretty narrow-minded view. I don’t want a big, hulking desktop wasting space in my house. I also travel about 20-30 weeks of the year for work, and would like to be able to play my games during downtime in the hotel. I could easily afford the latest and greatest gaming desktop rig available to buy, even at current market prices, but I choose to have a laptop that can game because of its portability. Some of us view it as a perk instead of a hindrance.

I’d really like one of these outlets to show the performance gains of the baseline 14-inch to get a reference of how much faster the binned chips are compared to the M1.

It gets much grippier over time. About 2-3 months into having it, I’ve found the feel of the leather cases to be just about perfect. Easy to slip in and out of pockets, but grippy in the hand. Not a fan of how the blue leather has ages over time with the iPhone 12, but hoping for better luck with my midnight leather case for my upcoming 13 Pro Max.

Yeah, this doesn’t make a ton of sense. It almost like Apple didn’t allow the Beats team to use an H1 rather than Beats refusing to. It almost seems like a way for them to differentiate these from the AirPods Pro. After all, if it had an H1, what would be the determining factor between the two?
