Apple FineWoven case review: Not the leather replacement we were hoping for
john mclachlan said:brucehal said:The article feels overblown and full of opinions about the case ‘likely’ failing in the future. Based on what data other than your opinion? Super negative articles get a lot more clicks I suppose. To be carbon neutral we need to move away from leather. I got the Evergreen fine woven case and MagSafe wallet with my iPhone 15 Pro Max a few days ago. I like it. A lot. It feels modern, high quality, durable, soft and comfortable to hold, with nice color matched aluminum buttons on the side. Just because it uses some high quality textured plastic in places it’s automatically cheap feeling? Actually no it’s not - it feels good and solid in hand. I had an Apple leather case on my previous iPhone - the 14 Pro Max - and I actually prefer the feeling of finewoven - soft and cool rather than hot and sticky. I don't understand what all the whining is about. Very happy with my new iPhone 15 Pro Max and finewoven case.

Tesla iOS app update lets you ask Siri to lock the doors
slow n easy said:themeperks said:I own a Tesla, and like the other owners I know, we don't WANT CarPlay. The Tesla audio and maps are much better. When I'm traveling and rent a car I find CarPlay extremely limited.Agree with themeperks, we don't need CarPlay in Tesla.Slow'n'easy: No, it won't. You can choose to play music from Bluetooth, Apple Music, Spotify etc or just use Tesla's music streaming (the latter is the worst in terms of quality). If you are concerned about sound quality, try playing around with it in the dealership or take it for a test drive. The sound quality in my Model Y is incredible (I have premium audio with 2 subs which was a standard on Model Y 2 years ago).Nothing in CarPlay is better than current Tesla UX and it would be limiting to use something like CarPlay. -
