I’m all about shopping around for deals, but trying to figure out if jumping from my current provider is worth it to save x$ over up to 24 months with all of these caveats isn’t worth my time... let alone any hidden buyout fees or variation in service availability.

The A11 Bionic processor in Apple's iPhone 8 and iPhone X uses a 10-nanometer architecture, scaled back from the 16 nanometers of the A10. 

Maybe I’m overthinking this, but “scaled back” does not seem like the appropriate term when describing this technical achievement. Yes, I get that it is a smaller process.

You've got to be kidding.

There have been 10+ articles on AI and other sites explaining that there is *no physical way* for Apple/Samsung, LG or anyone else, or even every supplier combined, to produce OLED screens in the ~ 170M quantity / year that Apple would need if they were "all in" on iPhone X ... and possibly the same for the other special bits within.

Without any inside info I would bet the house that Apple's teams of engineers have burned far more than the midnight oil to get these amazing products to where they are ... which is way ahead of the competition yet again.

I've often wondered why simple tools like the old MacDraw, Bento are not further developed by Apple and included with each Mac like Mail, Photos, Pages, etc...
