Western Australia Police can now use CarPlay to respond to emergencies
When I see articles like this, I realize how many assumptions I make. I assumed this was already happening at large. Adoption of things like CarPlay and USB-C at large has been painfully slow.

EU will force Apple & Google to allow third-party app stores, payment services
Can’t this be handled with flick of a switch to make everyone happy? Have a setting in Settings > App Store “Allow Sideloading”. Have it switched off by default. If a user switches it on, they can side load. Everyone wins, and nobody is forced to do something they don’t want to.

Apple Silicon Mac Pro could combine two M1 Ultra chips for speed
If Mac Pro makes it before M2 Gen, then I’d say this is pretty much what we expect. M1 Ultra x1, x2, x4, x6, and x8. Major power. Hefty price tag. And possibly 2nd Gen ProDisplay XDR launches with it.
And, fingers crossed, some expandability.

Fourth M1 chip with 12-core CPU may arrive in updated iMac Pro
Gonna go out on a nomenclature limb here.
Since M1Pro has 8 and 10 core config, the M1 Max will have 10 and 12 core config. No name change.
We shall see.
