Half the price? Should be more like $699-999 for smaller 4.5K (24 inch), and $1299-1499 for larger 5K (27 inch). And if it’s consumer level at the 32 inch size (and presumably 6K) then $1999, which means apple will shoot for $2499, which does fulfill the half-price prediction. hopefully a lot of discounts will appear to get it around $1999

For me, the fit is excellent. They make a great seal in my ear (due to the new shape) and sound awesome.

However, I can totally see where these might not fit some people as well as the previous Gen. There is a difference for sure. 

Call me crazy, but isn’t that what Rosetta is for? For something like Dropbox, doesn’t that pretty much do the trick? I totally understand for complex apps. I don’t understand why people would leave Dropbox over it. Maybe I’m missing something. 

Competition is good. Apple will probably
stick with their own silicon because now they control every aspect of their hardware, but we still want other competitors making really great silicon so that apple has to keep pushing performance with its own AS.

This is good news, and will push Apple to continue to innovate. 

I’m thinking they actually mean 2.5x more powerful (150%). Not 1.5x more powerful (50%).
