MagSafe Duo Charger, iPhone leather sleeve cost $129, and are 'coming soon'
CloudTalkin said:MagSafe charging cable: $39
Apple Watch charging cable: $29
20W Adapter $19
Total $87
MagSafe Duo $129
20W Adapter $19
Total $148
Difference $61
You really, really have to want that MagSafe Duo to pull the trigger on that purchase.
The cost of MagSafe and an Apple Watch charger isn’t even half the cost.
I appreciate the product, but the price tag is high. -
A14X Bionic allegedly benchmarked days before Apple Silicon Mac event

iPad Air 4 review: More pro than not
This raises the bar for the next gen iPad Pro. A14X alone will be killer, and there may be a bigger difference between the A14 and the A14X than ever before. They cant have an iPad Air being 80% as powerful as the Pro. Mini LED, ProMotion, 8GB RAM, U1, LiDAR, Pro Camera, better speakers, 5G, 1TB (and who knows, maybe options beyond that) and I’m thinking possibly TB3 to make it more Pro? And I wouldn’t be surprised if there is something else to further separate it too.
*TB3 makes sense since they are promising support on Apple Silicon Macs and they are beginning on the A14 generation of chip. We know the A14 will be compatible. Soooooo, drop it in an iPad for more functionality. Pass thru charging via magic keyboard, and a TB3 dock straight into iPad Pro. -
MacBook Air, 13- and 16-inch MacBook Pro reportedly first Apple Silicon Macs
If they do this, then the whole MacBook line is transitioning to Apple Silicon all at once. That’s awesome, but not sure about 16-inch being released.
*fingers crossed*Since we are focused on MacBooks right now, these chips are closer to what we’ve seen in iPhones and iPads.
So, my biggest question is this:
Is the A14 sufficient for a 12-inch MacBook and 13-inch MacBook Air? Or, does macOS require an A14X at minimum?
The baseline (A14 or A14X) means that the pros have to be better. A14Z in 13-inch? What does 16-inch get?
cant wait to see the starting point and then the difference compared to MBP’s. -
MagSafe Duo Charger gets first regulator approval from Korea
My favorite thing about this is 1 power outlet, 1 power adapter (20W), 1 USB-C lightning cable, and 1 MagSafe Duo gives you solid charging for your phone and watch. Great for people like me who are always running out of available outlets, and fantastic for travel. Charge your AirPods on the iPhone side, and any other lightning device with the cable that goes into the MagSafe Duo. It creates a solid 1-stop shop.
