M2 Extreme Mac Pro due in 2023, MacBook Pro still in 2022
Perhaps Apple will start Mac Pro on 3nm, possibly branded as M3, or maybe just it’s own thing separate from the M series

Apple reports record-breaking $83B in revenue in supply impacted Q3 2022
No doubt that Apples’ current product line is working. Apple Silicon not only helps sell devices (revenue), but increase the profit of that revenue as well. Next few quarters will most likely continue to be profit growth.

M2 Pro, M2 Max MacBook Pro models could arrive by the fall
If they do, then dang, that’s an aggressive update cycle. It was looking like 18ish months. But maybe the gap between M1 and M1 Pro and up was just because of the transition plus lockdowns, shortages, etc.
maybe Apple will have us on an annual upgrade cycle after all. If so, that will be amazing.

M2 MacBook Air matches 13-inch MacBook Pro in first benchmark
The most “real world” test for this will be sustained performance. Hopefully the new design dissipates heat better than any previous fanless design to date.
