M2 MacBook Air preorders begin on Friday, July 8
Cannot wait for in depth testing on how the M2
performs without a fan under heavy loads for extended periods of time. Also curious if Apple will use 2x128GB SSD’s on base model, or opt for 1x256GB again.
coming from 16” Intel MBP, this computer is powerful enough for me, but I do occasionally have longer heavy loads going.
can’t wait for the user reviews on this.

This is a machine nearing EOL. Apple needed to sell remaining chassis and Touch Bar’s. The rumored 15” MacBook will provably replace this one.
This is very likely the last machine from this era.

Shouldn’t be an Air. Should be a MacBook or MacBook Studio. Single fan design. M2 of course, and *possibly* M2 Pro option, especially if they go with the Studio moniker.This completely replaces the 13.3” Pro and ends the Touch Bar.

And I haven’t had to go to the AT&T store and pick a phone that seemed cool for the next 2 years from Nokia, Motorola, Sony Ericsson, Blackberry, etc.
Having Safari and real internet over cellular felt like the future in the palm of your hands. Absolutely incredible.
