I'm with you. And I wouldn't mind not having to pay extra for a soft grip case so it doesn't fall out my pocket or hand at the worst possible time!

Plus I’ve suspected that the cases insulate the phone: increasing the risk of overheating when the faster chargers that are now pretty much standard are used. Yes, there’s a monitoring system but isn’t it a bit like the overheat light on your car? When it’s triggered you’ve already had some amount of damage…

The easier to drop part is where I put most emphasis. In my hand it’s how usable the device is that counts for me and that very much includes not having to constantly fight having the thing slip from my grasp. As I’m not a huge fan of cases outside of traveling how the actual device works in my hand is important to me. 

My favorite union organization action to date is a demonstration outside a NYC Starbucks Roastery in Chelsea where the display tables were cheekily filled with prominent displays of competitors products, namely Dunkin coffee and baked goods. The precious element? Dunkin is NOT unionized. 

homework people, do your homework. 

I like the concentration of shopping opportunities these places, malls, provide (and I’ve never been a fan of all the inconvenience of deliveries), and in winter in the NE the weather protection is a plus.
