  • Anda Seat Dark Demon gaming chair review: an excellent seat, provided that you're tall eno...

6'3 and 5'2… those are the two target audiences in this case?

No hints at all for the people in between?

  • Federighi defends Apple's iOS 14 anti-tracking feature

Just a happy user, but when this subject is being discussed I always like to recommend: https://lockdownprivacy.com/.

Those look nice. You can hardly tell from regular glasses except the larger hinges and temples which is where the batteries are.

HUD is nice, but I would like smart glasses to have night vision. That would be neat.

HUD is nice; but these don’t have that.

As far as I can tell these are basically like failing to copy the AirPods Pro, and then implementing the transparency mode by putting the speakers on a stick outside your ear.

What (if anything) am I missing here??
What the fuck do they have to do with Air pods pro ? Air pods are mainstream earpods, those "smart glasses" are a niche product for people who don't want to have earbuds in their ears all the time, and want something that will attract less attention while still being able to use vocal commands. It's not the same target, you don't buy echo glass to listen to music, and they can't cancel the noise
    Market/target overlap.

I’ll be happy when ATT rolls out. I wonder, though, if people will even pay attention or just tap to make the dialog box disappear so they can get on with whatever. I know a lot of people who claim not to care about being tracked.

Side note: I’d like it if Apple surprised everyone with features like this and the paste notification. Wouldn’t if be great if you updated one day and got to see how many apps were surreptitiously checking your clipboard before those apps had a chance to fix the behavior?
I don’t care to be tracked because when you’re connected, you’re tracked one way or another.
So you don’t want privacy in the future because you don’t have privacy today; and you’re happy with everyone easily being able to track you as long as there’s one party able to track you?
You’ll never have privacy for as long as there’s a government.
Also, you'll never understand whether or not you have (what level of) privacy as long as you're paranoid.
