Preorders for $1,099 iPhone 12 Pro Max now live
Took me a few close outs of the AS app before I got through. Well, more than a few, but all good. Phone ordered and delivery in a week and also said YOLO and got an HP mini for the bedroom using the Apple Insider $10 off promo. Thanks AI!

Playstation 5 versus Xbox Series X - which is the best gaming console for the Apple user
I own both PS4 and Xbox One. Easily will be getting the Series X first before eventually getting a PS5, most likely next year when the price comes down. Xbox simply has the better online experience. And their newly redone iPhone app is great.

Spotify reports $118 million loss despite adding more users, paid subscribers

Explain please. How is it “better”? That sounds pretty subjective. Like someone saying Matisse is “better” than Van Gogh. You may like something better, but that’s a different argument. No idea how it’s “better” when I can’t use my 20 year iTunes library of music I’ve collected that I transferred to iTunes on it. I don’t see any radio shows like the ones Apple Music has. I’ll give Spotify one edge, and that that’s their use of analytics at the end of the year showing what I’ve listened to, but even Apple has started that and I hope to see it improve from last year. Yes, I use both services, so I’m not in any troll wars. But I’m pretty objective when I say that I think Apple Music is overall better when the plusses and minuses are compared.

Apple might soon offer 1TB iPhone storage option
I’ve been wanting this ever since they started going 512GB. I use the cloud for everything...except my music. I have a huge collection that I recently moved to an external hard drive. I just like downloading the music to my phone. Just the obsessive compulsive in me. 1TB would be beautiful.

I think Xbox remote play requires you to use an Xbox controller (since that guarantees you'll have the correct button layout and controller functions for the games). That said, the web site for the Backbone One says that any iOS game that supports controllers will work, so that would be App Store games in addition to Apple Arcade games.
