  • All-screen foldable MacBook may come in multiple sizes with M5 processor

This isn't what we want. We want MacOS on iPad, just do that.

  • 15-inch MacBook Air review: Hits the sweet spot for portability and power

I've got one arriving on Monday for my wife. It's been a 6-year wait for her, and at last the perfect MacBook. Because her eyesight isn't perfect, she's always wanted a larger screen, but doesn't need the power of a Pro. She is definitely in the target market for this machine.

  • 2022 iPad Air review: The iPad truest to Apple's original vision

I can see an iPad Air / iPad Pro being laptop replacement one day. Imagine this: take the iPad with you wherever you go. Sit down at a desk, plug it into a dock and you get dual screen, keyboard and mouse. For that, the storage needs to get bigger and the iPad OS needs to move closer to macOS. Or they can just shrink down macOS now that the laptop and the tablet are sharing the same CPU.
I love to see this. I've owned a couple of iPads over the years but always end up selling them due to lack of use - for me they're a solution without a problem. Instead I have an old 12" MacBook I take everywhere. An iPad running MacOS - I'd be on that in a flash.

  • This 'iPhone 11' case manufacturer is expecting a shorter Apple Pencil

I don’t know why you’d want Apple Pencil support on an iPhone... the device is to small to write on.  I suppose it could be done (with care) but typing would be faster.
Man, I would jump on this real quick. I've still got an iPhone 6 because I only upgrade if there's a feature compelling to me, or the phone dies. I upgraded from a 4 to a 6 because the compelling feature was the larger screen. I would upgrade tomorrow for pencil support. I jot a lot of notes, which I is why I want it. I've tried using an iPad, but find it inconvenient to tote around. A notepad in my pocket though - that I would go for.

  • Apple's 2019 16-inch MacBook Pro keyboard expected to shift to scissor mechanism

I much prefer the lower key travel. I find it hard to go back to older-style keyboards now, they feel like typewriters.
