I had this issue too, but didn't know it was (supposedly) dust. The graphics card failed and the iMac was "obsolete" so I didn't bother to fix either thing.

Was hoping to read in the article that "What can I help you with?" might be personalised for me as "How may I help you?" ... But seriously, I would love a formality setting.
