  • Review: Corsair TBT100 is a reliable Thunderbolt 3 dock in a competitive market

Only one TB3 port?  This means TB3 stops at this dock which is a deal-breaker for me.  I'm looking for a slim dock like this to bolt under by desk and attach my two daisy-chained Thunderbolt RAID towers to it.  Such a shame that they made that decision.

Does anyone know of a slim TB3 dock for an iMac?  The gigantic power-supply is not necessary as I do not plan to use it (ever) to charge a laptop.
The Elgato Thunderbolt 3 Pro Dock may be what you're looking for. We talk about it a bit here in this review.

  • Review: Apple Watch Series 6 is still the best smartwatch to buy

As for blood oxygen, one useful thing is for COVID patients. My brother had to get himself to the hospital when his blood oxygen went down below a threshold. The AW is also adding a recording for your VO2 Max, which is a useful indicator of health. You can actively work on improving this via cardiovascular exercise. HIIT has proven effective at this, including the Tabata Protocol of 4 minutes a day, 5 days a week. More info:
Sorry, for the other two, there are a TON of precautionary articles that say do not rely on Apple Watch for this. It isn’t necessarily accurate enough and can end up with a lot of people unnecessarily  going to the doctor and a lot of people not going when they should. Absolutely rely on a real pulse oximeter for COVID symptoms and not this.

As for VO2 max, this hasn’t launched yet so we can’t test it or see how much of a difference it makes. A follow up will be coming.

Where it falls short is in motivating Apple Watch Series 5 owners to upgrade.

...it’s really not supposed to. Normals don’t do that. And Apple payment plans are 24 months.

I mildly disagree with you on the upgrades. iPhone payment plans are also 24 months but do have an option for yearly upgrades. For a while, a lot of Apple Watch users did upgrade yearly. But that number has dropped as major features were farther apart. There’s no shade here, it’s just true. Doing what I do here I see a LOT of people who upgrade each year but are hesitant this time around. I agree non-techie people won’t upgrade year-over-year but they won’t do that with their iPhone either and yet that is still commonly done. I did upgrade from my Series 5 but for the first time it doesn’t entirely feel worth it. I’m not going back though!

I hope you’re using hanging studs for isolation and isolation adhesive, they. Way we do this for sound studios.

    but congrats.
Not entirely. Using sound deadening board and isolation sound padding. I can’t do *everything* as much as I’d like to! But appreciate the tips! I should have reached out to folks ahead of time for some recommendations! Been doing video for a long time but first time building an actual studio from nothing. So using a few good resources and learning a bit as I go.

I know MKBHD, and I’ll tell you that with his 12 million subs, and his several million viewers per video,m he makes more than the entire AppleInsider site, and so he can afford anyth8ing he wants.
It looks pretty small, and the ceiling is very low, so lighting and sound will be harder to control. Compared to other studios, like the one from  Marques Brownlee this looks puny. However, it beats recording in your living room! Congrats!
so it is 400 square feet in total. That's a decent size for us and I'm a one-man team. MKBHD has several people at once. The ceiling is also a little lower than I'd like but we cant change the height of that. Fortunately, we are going with low reflective ceiling paint and a few bounces to control light. Once we dial in, it wont need changed all that much. We can set it and leave it.

I had a studio before, but it was about 10x8 feet which is less than half the size. so big
Right?! Yeah — our 500K is paltry compared to his massive sub count, massive view count, and entire team of employees! I’m very grateful for what I have at this point!
