  • Apple announces new Music, Podcasts, and Maps features coming in the fall

Forget about using Google maps in Bombay, it’ll always send you the long way around. Apple maps consistently shows routes 1 hour shorter if you’re driving across the city. I simply assumed that Google data would be better because of its overwhelming number of users here, I was wrong.

Facehugger Lobotomy Pro - renders all previous smartphone dumbdowns obsolete!

It's just what a self-absorbed, obsessive-compulsive, pron-addicted society requires for this moment in human evolution.

No longer will bloggers,  twittlers, tik-tok-wits and Instagram influencers require that their cellphones be attached to selfie sticks when sharing recordings of urban beatdowns, automobile accidents, skateboard park mishaps, retail theft incidents, mostly peaceful protests, self-defense documentation and other events of prurient misery.

    OK boomer

    This is a game changer.

Can’t wait to be immersed in SCUBA scenes, space odyssey scenes, intense gaming, all with spatial sound - will be incredible.

Couple with a zero gravity chair and you’ll float away.

And for VanLifers and RV folks this will provide a level of entertainment and productivity not possible in their small confines.

Seems EyeSight is completely unnecessary for most use cases and therefore will be axed in future versions, not unlike the TouchBar on MacBook Pros.
Agreed. You made me think of the iMax movie catalogue — such as the Space Station footage — will be fantastic on the Apple headset.

No surprise all the haters rushed to be the first to comment.
And all before the announcement was even over, lol.
They exhibit the exact behaviour of paid trolls — rapid response comments to shape the conversation and manipulate the algorithms on social media. But, the similarity must be just a coincidence. After all, companies like Google and Samsung would surely not employ people to post negative comments about their great rival, would they?

I have to laugh at the references to the Mac Studio as a "stopgap product." The R&D for an all-new product like the Mac Studio likely started at least a few and more likely several years before it hit the market.

It is a stopgap product in the sense that Apple realized a Mac Pro couldn't be shipped within the transition period. [snip]
    Dude, you don’t know that.
