Trouble is not from Beijing. Taiwan is the trouble maker. Notice it politicizing the vaccine donation event?

You’re first out of the blocks accusing Taiwan of being a “trouble maker.” Welcome to the forum dear member of the Chinese Communist Party!

  • Facebook announces new business communication tools that rival iMessage

This is my, purely anecdotal, experience living in a country where iPhone has a tiny market share. I have to remind my friends that they have Messages app, that it’s better and more fun. Elegant and easy to use. And Tapback keeps the conversation flowing. Same thing with FaceTime. I’m always encouraging my friends with iPhones to use it. Better technology, better sound, calls don’t drop etc. Not to mention the sound quality from built-in speakers and mics. Whenever there is a Zoom call and someone sounds crud, I ask and find out that they are on some godforsaken PC and a headset made by who-knows-who.

  • Apple's Lisa Jackson sees 'economic opportunity' in Clean Energy Standard

The main economic opportunity is in subsidy farming. And the only places these jobs exist is in rhetoric… (snip) Fossil fuels have been hugely subsidized for generations. … You can get on board with it, or you can keep sharpening your harpoon while you insist that whale oil is where it’s at.
…and your post is the usual BS, progressive talking points backed by zero evidence. If “clean energy” (an oxymoron if there ever was one) is an opportunity waiting to happen it would have already occurred. Let the market decide, instead of ramming it down this country’s throat.

I guess “dirty energy” is not an oxymoron, and that’s alright with you. Funny how conservatives set the highest standards for renewable energy, happily nitpicking to kingdom come, without giving a second thought to the wholesale destruction—to our health and the environment—and the enormous costs being levied by fossil fuels.

  • M1 iMac teardown reveals massive speaker chamber, Magic Keyboard Touch ID sensor

I hope to buy the new large screen iMac whenever Apple, hopefully, launches it. It will replace my 6 year-old iMac Retina, which I repeatedly opened to replace the HDD (to upgrade and because of disk failure). iMacs tend to last long that I like to be able to upgrade the storage because, inevitably, my requirements outgrow the original capacity.
