    May be not for 6G. But, I was never going to invest in the first gen even if I am extremely tempted.  But if there is a Macbook Air with 5G it would be an extremely attractive package...

    Except the blog doesn't actually SAY that. Instead it says "You can also select Apple Music as your default music streaming service." But you can also keep your existing default music streaming service while making Apple one of the alternate services that you can specify with commands. 

    As for "follows a similar move by Amazon" ... so we are to believe that this was being blocked on the Google side as opposed to the Apple one? ...

    The headline is a bit misleading (if only slightly so). As pointed by others I searched in the mac app store for Gmail, twitter and facebook apps and they are not there not even netflix. The clarification is deep into the article

    So its Apple pushing them to port their iPad apps to mac. Given that is not at all surprising that they are not immediately on board...
