Siri will let users interact with apps when summoned on iPadOS 14
SIRI can do so much on MacOS that it can’t in iOS. For example, opening the last file worked on, putting the Mac to “sleep”, etc. To make Siri really beneficial, how about the following:
1. Open or Close a file
2. Open or Close an App
3. Print anything that could normally be printed by saying “Print” in an App or file
4. Put my iPad to sleep
5. Close the current Safari page, where more than one are open
6. Open a split screen by telling Siri to “Open nnn” while another session or split screen compatible app is open. There are so many things which could be done to make Siri truly useful, are not possible. We need more advances like this. Perhaps applying efforts to make our devices more useful, and less on bells & whistles like emoticons, would make them really worth the price. Why is Apple hesitant to do this?
