I am really looking forward to the ARM-RISC based ARMBook or better called B-Book (B=business). Whatever they call it I am ready. If I look back to the Acorn RISC PC line you could stack and how powerful that was at that time I do believe Apple can shake-up the way we work once again if they do it right. Please Apple go big on this and don’t follow the path of fear of losing your installed base. You already have the software and yes MS Office is also available on ARM. Adobe will follow and Affinity is maybe close to finalize their products. It is time. 10 years of Intel is enough no gain to expect here it is old technology with a lot of plastered fixes and enhancements plus leaks. The ARM might be RISCy but powerful.

As security specialists we all know that connected devices are as secure as their connections to the next hop. Analyzing and Sniffing data packages is a way to let’s say join a conversation. And yes a VPN can help to protect your devices real location but not the data leaving your beloved iPhone or other brand. End-to-end encryption can help to secure your data hopping from one to the next point before arriving at the endpoint.

Okay I am in need to add something to the article. It’s is not about screen- or display size it is all about dimensions of the device and usability as Steve Jobs told us right? Yes hardware wise it is a great upgrade but talking about handling a SE old style is way better than the current SE. you will definitely need two instead of one hand to operate this device as with the 6,7 and 8 iPhones who have similar dimensions. Keep that in mind. I do hope that one day we understand that size doesn’t matter but usability and comfort in handling, operation and storage even in the so popular tight jeans, right fashionistas? Having limited width and height but still a decent display size is a holy grail yet to be found in this ever big, bigger, biggest and tall, taller, tallest competition. And hardware is one thing but In the end it is all about usability, services, security and flexibility not size. Think again...

This is a perfect time to replace Intel wit ARM/ Apple home brewing CPU’s. And GPU’s. Try and you may I say!
