  • Microsoft found a man named 'Mac Book' to tout Surface Laptop 2

The funny thing is : Rosoft is a family name too.. Apple only has to find a guy named Mic..
    Mike Rosoft!

It looks very sleek. The colour scheme, if not exactly as groundbreaking as last year's Androids, looks great nevertheless.

I'm leaning towards off centre punch holes but it is very small.

I think the design is very modern even if it doesn't set a new bar.

If this is one of the Notes, it hits the mark.
Oh good. You'll become an Android user, and there'll be less need or interest on your part in being on an Apple forum....

    At least, one can hope!
He already is. Draw your own conclusions on his reason for being here...
At least I actually use both systems daily. LOL.

What conclusions should I draw from you being in a thread that not only doesn't mention Apple in the title but, by your own reckoning, is a knock-off article?

Was it just to check what, as yet not implemented or ehem, 'perfected', Apple ideas Samsung is rumoured to be revealing next month?

Or did you have a genuine interest in at least learning about what might be coming Android's way very soon?

Sorry to butt in, but I still don’t see how Google’s Android may be relevant to the Apple ecosystem. These are two very distinct worlds, so to speak, which don’t really intersect as far as their core audiences go

May I ask why this is here? I personally go to AppleInsider specifically not to have to flip through Samsung, Huawei, Xiaomi, or any other make I’m not interested in

Sounds like someone’s palm isn’t getting greased to me... and Denmark isn’t exactly awash in high tech either.

    Just my $0.02
Sorry, that withdrawal got denied when you started flexing your extensive knowledge of what’s happening in Sweden by talking about Denmark.

Back to geography school you go…
Well said. He meant Stockholm hehe. Oh well...
He’d still be wrong. Stockholm has tech. Ever heard of Spotify? Bluetooth? Ericsson? All came from Stockholm. Oops.
I felt like ignoring that aspect of things, but if anyone feels like reading up on it this 3 year old article might be a good place to start: https://www.forbes.com/sites/knowledgewharton/2015/11/11/how-stockholm-became-a-unicorn-factory/

Also, us Swedes are quite active when it comes to doing startups in China, Silicon Valley, Berlin, Barcelona etc.

Ericsson, along with many other brands characterised by a glorius past, but rather bleak present, is a perfect example of how steep a price one often has to pay for a stubbornly conservative mindset

  • New HomePod, 'AirPods 2,' death of 3D Touch all expected in 2019

I like 3D Touch, but struggle sometimes not to activate it. If trying to follow a link or copy an image, I repeatedly touch it more and more gently to avoid invoking 3D. I haven't found a way to adjust sensitivity in Settings. When I struggle with an Apple product, I tend to accept blame, knowing there must be a simple solution I'm too obtuse to discover.
Go to Settings -> General -> Accessibility and scroll down a tad bit for 3D Touch. There, you’ll be able to adjust its sensitivity
