They need to fix the way apps are downloaded. I want the ability to choose my download location down to the page, folder, and it’s position within. The way we’ve been doing this for the last 16 years, where the new download just occupies the first available empty space, is awkward, inefficient, and outdated. The option to download directly to the App Library and bypass the home screen is a very small bandaid to a much larger problem. The iPhone will be entering its third decade in a few short years (!!!!)…it’s way past time that Apple addressed this oddity in iOS. 

150 million Americans use the platform? I’m sorry, but that’s a bullshit number and an outright lie. Maybe there are 150 million accounts in America, where many people might have more than one. Maybe. I sincerely doubt it, but maybe. Or maybe many of those people joined up and quit 5 minutes later. Maybe. But to suggest that half of our nation uses TikTok is hilarious. And before you ask Wavy, I do not have any proof of what i am saying other than the common sense logic that my own observations provide. 

That is one ugly phone, imo.

It’s what used to be known as a joke. See, back in the day people would make humorous observations about people and events, then relay those observations to others in order to elicit a laugh. This one here is what’s called a “softball” because it’s such an easy and obvious target for a joke. A previous supposed leak by MaxTech showed the A17 getting 38xx in single core and over 8xxx in multi. 

The person who leaked it to them said it ran too hot in the iPhone enclosure at that super sayan power level, so they speculated it would have to drop down to 3000 and 7000 respectively. 

That’s lining up with this. 

People are forgetting the a16 and m2 series are stopgap chips, with barely any improvement over m1, just clocked higher. 

As Apple did not have enough time to implement new GPU features, everything outside of some registers and cache stayed mostly the same. 

A17/M3 has cpu architectural improvements, new GPU, and memory upgrades. It’s going to be a good leap from m2. 

In a phone enclosure, we won’t get to see full benefit, due to sever thermal constraints. But the m version, I’m a more generous space will have room to rip. 

It’s not like the iPhone desperately needs more power but it’s nice. The Mac, however, is going to really shine, especially in light of rivals who’ve cut corners to compete on performance. 

I haven’t seen that leak from MaxTech yet, but you might want to keep checking back for them to inevitably change their minds. Then, change it again. Referencing MaxTech is a risky proposition.
