  • Kensington SlimBlade Pro Trackball Review: Fully loaded, but not for beginners

If you've ever played piano or guitar - really, any instrument that requires one to use all of one's fingers individually - I don't think it would be too hard to adapt. I use the tips of my thumb, pinkie, ring finger, etc. to click the individual buttons on my Expert Mouse, and I use the undersides of my fingers to roll the ball if I need to keep one or more fingers near the buttons. A customizable ball would be cool, and crumbs tend to fall into the depression where the rollerball sits, but overall I love a four-button trackball. It has definitely helped me preserve my wrists.

  • Kensington's new SlimBlade Pro Trackball is ergonomic & ambidextrous

Page layout mainly, but also a bit of Photoshop, audio editing, word processing, spreadsheets, etc. Mine is a Turbo Mouse. Much easier on my wrists than a mouse, especially when using it for an extended amount of time. I also like the scroll wheel and the multiple buttons and button combinations.

  • Buy 10 Mac Studios, or this one Macintosh Color Classic

Not sure about the price, or the utility of that Mac, but the keyboards's sure a winner! With the help of an ADB to USB adapter, I'm still using the ADB Apple Extended Keyboard II that came with my mom's old IIvx. :)

  • How iOS 14.5 broke Apple's Podcasts app [ux2]

Another broken feature is the way the list of subscribed shows appears (or doesn't) at launch. In 14.4, when I tapped the "Library" icon at the bottom of the screen, I'd see a list of all my subscriptions, sorted by most recently updated. Now it defaults to "Recently Followed" - in other words, most recently subscribed to, which is completely useless to me since that has no connection to how recently episodes have posted. I now have to make a second tap on "Shows," at the top of the screen - and the default sorting order was, again, not useful to me; I had to tap on "Edit" and change that (something I was left to figure out for myself).

  • How to run Mac OS 8 in an app inside Catalina

I have images of some of the old Living Books CD-ROM's, and my kids would love to see them. This'll be great!
